I hope everyone had an amazing Christmas holiday, I know our family and friends sure did! Especially, one of my best friends from public school...Krista and her Aussie, beau James!
yah yah they are getting hitched!! I could not be more excited about an engagement, these two light each other up like the brightest and shiny-est (is this a word?) of Christmas tree ornaments...and FUN holy man do they know how to crack each-other up and have a good time.
James, I just absolutely love the way you love my dearest friend, I have never ever seen her happier or heard her speak of all kinds of futuristic family adventures. James, you are an incredibly genuine person, who just brings out the best in Krista, you are funny, compassionate and who cares if you have never heard of OFSSA (inside joke!).
We decided at the last minute while they were home for a visit from Calgary to do an engagement shoot, it was the most perfect winter day, the sun was shining (totally fitting for this bright and happy couple!! hee hee), the frost was covering the tree branches and glistening like mad... but man alive it was freeeeeezing cold!
Anyways, happy new year to everyone, and enjoy your sneak peek love birds!!
This is one of my favorites, such a natural moment between the two of them, and i love love the trail of breath visibly escaping Krista!
I love love this progression of expressions! Like come on how cute are these two!
and a glimpse at the goods!
love you guys, congrats again and again so looking forward to the big day!! xoxo

I love the way he loves her!!
These two are just smitten! They planned one of most unique and luxurious weddings I have ever had the opportunity to capture. Every detail was purely a reflection of their personalities and relationship. Julie even admitted to have not even looked at one Bridal magazine! Can you imagine! This girl has style and inspiration on her own without any influence!! Amazing! Julie's mother even hand-made her wedding dress from a paper-clipping she had cut out of a fashion file newspaper!
Julie and David's choice of venue really capped off the evening! Their love for the Morris House prompted them to use this space to host one of the most intimate and memorable celebrations of their life! They planned a private dinner for their guests and had the chef prepare and present the food in a family style manner, again to emphasize the closeness of the group.
I really don't think that there was a moment that Julie and David were not smiling, or cuddling or holding hands! Even though it was chilly and raining the smiles never once left their faces!
Congratulations you guys, I had such a fabulous time working with you and being a part of your very special day.
Enjoy your sneak peek...
the scrumptious food...(i got a few taste tests..shhhh!!!)
aww the dress!!
the shoes...
The beautiful bride getting ready! Her hairdresser even came to the Morris House to do her hair!
The groom awaiting the ceremony to begin!
The ceremony begins!
The creative force and talent responsible for both the dress and the bride!! hee hee
The way David looks at Julie is heart-melting!!
the meal about to be served!
The dessert...yum
The private dinner...
Congratulations guys; have fun on your honeymoon! xo

They say that rain on your wedding day is good luck...well Kate and Andrew will certainly never run out of luck! They were absolute troopers and didn't let the downpour hold them back or keep them from smiling ear to ear... A sign of true love!
This couple was so fun to capture on their wedding day, the rain successfully united all their guests under umbrellas and created a truly intimate celebration!
The couple decided to integrate their Scottish traditions and they kept loved ones unable to be there with them physically close to their hearts.
Enjoy your sneak peek guys, I had a blast capturing your very special day!
o and did I mention that i loved loved the detials! Check out these boutonnieres...so unique and stunning!
Boys will be boys!! too much fun!
Meanwhile, Kate the beautiful bride was getting ready!
Kate literally looked like a little porcelain doll, so classy and timeless and her dress fit her like it was custom made for her!
The sun did make a grand entrance at a few points in the day!
...however, as soon as Kate walked over the bridge to her awaiting groom, the clouds swooped overhead and the rain came down!!
...still full of smiles!!
Their officiant actually baptized Kate when she was a baby, the entire day was created with such meaning!
I loved how snuggled up together all of their guests were!
Congratulations guys! xo

Okay I have gone completely overboard with this sneak peek. I just loved this vintage inspired wedding! Christine, the bride, was absolutely radiant. Chris, the handsome groom, was beaming with smiles. The wedding party was gorgeous. The weather was picture perfect. The guests were geared up for an incredible celebration. It was literally a fairy tale! And did I mention, how madly in love these two are....wow! Incredible to witness!
I can totally understand why these high-school sweet-hearts picked The Benmiller Inn and Spa as their venue, you would be hard pressed to find a venue that reflected their natural beauty better. I had waaaaaaaaaaay to much fun capturing your wedding day guys, here is a sneak peek of the day!
Lets start with the G-Q boys!
Chris, I can honestly say that I have never met a more excited groom! I wish I had video footage of your remarks about Christine before the ceremony!
One word, Christine... RADIANT!:
and of course every Greek Goddess needs a touch of Gold!
The ceremony:
I love the excitement in Christine and Chris' facial expressions!
a special visitor arrived for a wee family photo-shoot!
one of my favorites!!
we even hit a roof top!
I organized a picnic with the Benmiller Inn's kitchen..whoa did they ever do a fantastic job!
