Recently I had the honour of capturing Gabrielle and Bruce’s wedding at their country side home. Not only was it laden with gorgeous details to kick off and inspire all feelings of cozy fall splendour , it was a true reflection of how a family can and should pull together to join forces and support a newly wed couple. This talented family built all of the stunning harvest tables that seated the guests, and the groom and bride's family actually re-built the barn to house the wedding and reception! I can't think of a better way to join a new family than to collaborate skill-sets, put a little elbow grease into it and build the perfect venue for a rustic DIY fall wedding. Even four legged, furry friends were a part of the celebration!
Nobody can ever predict the weather, and this couple held their chins high and gratefully took on what-ever mother nature held in her cards! I always think that rain on your wedding day is a good luck sign. It seems to create even more intimacy, there is nothing more romantic then a couple snuggled under an umbrella. Or the liberation and freedom that comes with dancing in the rain.
Thank you for choosing me to splash about with you, enjoy your sneak peek!
