Re-union of sorts!

What a spectacular Re-union! I was super pumped when Kim and Steve asked me to re-unite with them and their extended family all the way from Texas, to capture some memories! I mean come on, these guys are one of my favorite families to photograph, they are all so natural in front of the lens, they let their individual personalities shine through and lets face it they are simply gorgeous too! Besides, nothing makes me happier than to meet up with families year after year for a 'picture date'. I love getting to see how much babies have grown! 

For those of you who regularly follow the blog, you will recognize two of these adorable four faces!   We met up a secret and wonderful location here in Stratford for our first half of the shoot. Then we headed over to the P.A.R.K for a few shots! (yes i spell this out, because this is a super risky place to take a handful of fire-balls!) It allowed me to spend some separate time with each family so the risk was worth it!!

While I was editing there was a series of images that made me tear up (i know i know, i am such a mush ball, I just get so caught up in the beauty of children! and Paige is definitely a little BEAUTY!

Keegan and Paige are leading their cousins Bryar and Barrett in the photo-shoot warm-up!

 

Paige is reaching high for the sky, jumping is a great new skill at her age, talk about mad ups...volleyball career in the future perhaps?!!

 

speaking of all-star athletes, this handsome lad is quite the hockey star i hear!!

 

This image is also one of my favourites, I love how Barrett is looking up at his mom, and I also love how Bryar is owning the camera lens! 

Like seriously, how stylish can these two Chiquita's be...love love love the hats!

  

You can tell how excited Paige is to be spending some quality time with her cousins, she was all giggles smiles and hugs when it came to getting rides with Bryar!

The race of all races! I love how Keegan is starting to get into his aerodynamic position and Paige is trying with all her might to catch up to Bryar (in the lead) and Barrett!

  

Then it was back to 'location unidentifiable' to get some shots of Kim and Steve with their munchkins

You may recognize 'baby' Drew... well Drew has seen a lot of changes over the past year...

He has grown waay bigger and stronger, he is speaking up a storm, and he is a big brother now!

You can tell he is thrilled about his new role as big bro, how couldn't he be...His baby sister (3 mos) Lauren is cute as a button!

She is so content to watch her big brother's every move!

She is full of smiles, makes not a peep and she loved the camera!

Lea and Mark, You guys are such incredible parents, it is outstanding to witness your family's amazing dynamics! THis shoot was all about Family, Drew and of course baby Lauren, I wanted to ensure that we incorporated tons of color and devoted some time to getting Lauren's adorable 'itty bitty baby details'

I had a blast spending the morning with your absolutely adorable family, safe trip back out west...I know of a number of people who will miss you like crazy until your next return home!

Jake + Jessica

I have been a very bad blogger this past week! I swear I have been literally glued to my keester (spelling?) editing like mad! I just had to post some images from Jake and Jessica's wedding held here in Stratford.

I love intimate weddings, I love the emotions that occur, I love the details that the brides put so much thought into, I love the expression on the grooms face when he first sees his bride, I love the tears of joy that fall during the ceremony, I love all the hand holding, kisses and laughter...I love shooting weddings!

Jessica and Jake are such an adorable couple.  We decided that we would do Jessica's "unveiling" prior to the ceremony so that I would have a good chunk of time with the love-birds before the festivities began. I always tell my brides that the purpose of the photo-shoot is to allow the bride and groom a chance to have a date on their wedding day, to enjoy each-other and relish in the moment of the day because the day flies by soooo incredibly fast!

Jake's parents have this amazing property on the outskirts of town, I started the day by getting shots of Jake and his mom (who by the way are too cute, I hope my baby boy and I always remain as close as these two have!) Anyways, long story short, we totally deviated from the original plan of photo locations and lapped up some of the great sights here! This is  where Jessica first appeared to her groom! Leanne & Ray

Before leaving for our family's two week hiatus in Europe, I had the pleasure of capturing Leanne and Ray's whimsical wedding day here in Stratford.  I was so excited when I pulled up to Leanne's parents' home in Mitchell to do some pre-ceremony shots, their charming home was the perfect place to set the tone for the day! The lighting was unbelievable, the gardens were lush and their front balcony  was one of the best I have encountered for pre-wedding pictures! 

Leanne and Ray, planned an intimate celebration full of charm and style.  They successfully, created an atmosphere that reflected their personalities and their relationship.  If you had to describe their day as a fragrance, it would be made of summer breezes, with a hint of Chanel No. 5 and the sumptuous aroma of Rundles Restaurant's' mouth watering cuisine!

The modernist architecture of Rundles Restaurant and the Morris House provided the backdrop and inspiration for this chic and unique wedding.

Wedding days are about celebrating with your most dearest and loved family and friends, so while Leanne and Ray were greeting all of their guests I took a moment to capture some of the people that love and support them as a couple

Some of which traveled as from as far as Switzerland to celebrate!

  

Then it was off to do some fun shots with the newly weds
