"Little H-Bomb"

Meet Harper aka little H-Bomb! I met this adorable family for their family photos here in Stratford and we had so much fun.  I absolutely love that proud dad calls Harper his little H-bomb it made me giggle and i even asked if i could steal his material and call Hunter the same!Harper, 5 months, was so full of smiles and personality i could not believe it, he slept when we wanted him to and smiled on demand! Dreamy for photos! I found some new graffti locales and i think i will definately return to these locations... This shot is one of my favorites I love how Dan is soaking up these moments with his little one. Its almost as if you can hear him breathing in his baby's scent (what a delicious scent that is!!)

This family should seriously considering modeling!

Harper started out the shoot sleeping so we took the opportunity to get a few shots with their other baby, Putter:

Brooke, Bowen, and Jake

I am super pumped about this shoot... (well I should back track for a moment and explain that I as soon as I get home from every shoot I am soo pumped and  the first thing I do...after hugs and kisses for my boys...is  preview the photos with pure excitement and look for the 'experimental ones'). Those of you who have had your photos taken by me, will recall me saying from time to time...'oh i am just going to try this one idea out' this of course is then followed by a ' o o o i love it, love it...quite possibly my favorite photo ever!!' Well this was a family shoot of great friends of mine, so naturely I felt very comfortable with doing more than one idea!! This family is outstanding, they are so easy to photograph, full of spirit and super natural in front of the camera (i wonder why Karen?!! hee hee) Karen loves to take photos and she is a scrapbooking genius! i have been trying to master the LENS FLARE creative factor and thus far have not been overly successful at it, but i think...i think..i may have nailed it...

Paige and Keaghan

Hellloooo cutie patutie pies! These two little munchkins were soo full of energy and smiles it was incredible! Kim and Steve you guys ROCK it is so obvious that you just loooove being parents, you are wonderful.   We met at the river here in Stratford for our warm up, then we hit my favorite go-to location with great even lighting..York Street. The weather was a great participant and these two balls of energy were quite the charmers! Enjoy your sneak peek!  And i am crossing my fingers that i have not butchered the spelling of your babes names (which i love by the by!!)

Couture Threads

I just could not resist doing another quick post of stunning Andrea! Remember I mentioned that we had the lucky rain-fall on her wedding day? Well as a result, we had the most exceptional EXPERIENCE at Couture Threads a bridal and event dressing boutique here in Stratford and i managed to keep the girls  dry!.  If you are a bride and you follow my blog, be sure to visit this exquisite boutique, they have the most elegant collection of gowns, accessories and amazing service! We did some shots in their spacious dressing rooms and private podium viewing studio.  This couture salon has AMBIANCE, STYLE and amazing lighting for photos!! Thank you so much to the owner and staff at Couture Threads for accommodating us, this experience 100% added to the adventure and unique qualities of this wedding day!

Deo and Yasmin

Meet this energetic duo! Deo, 6 years old and Yasmin 3 years old, certainly did not take long to warm up to the camera! We met at these spectacular windows for our photo-shoot and I am just pleased as a peach at how great the lighting was! This may just be my newest favorite location for photos, my next bride, you can guarantee we will be heading here for a few!

When Shirin contacted me to do their first-ever, family photos and I was so pleased that she chose me to capture their smiles! As you know, I am against saying CHEESE for the camera, and these guys did a fantastic job of being themselves for me.  What a fun morning! Deo I hope that your French presentation went amazing, I am sure it did, all of that practicing certainly made perfect! Enjoy your sneak peek!

Andrea and Donny- Married!!

You may remember these two love-birds from their fun engagement Ice-cream date! They shared the most spectacular wedding day and didn't even bat an eyelash in the face of rain! Hey they do say that rain on your wedding day is the best luck! Well lets face it, these two certainly do not need any luck at all! They are so obviously in love and have already shared so many fantastic memories with one-another!Andrea and Donny you guys are so easy to photograph...Radiant couple!

These two are full of laughs, energy, adventure and I think i may have even captured some of their  private moments of whispering sweet nothings into each other's ears.

Ps I was so excited to use this fantastic umbrella! We started at my favorite "secret" graffiti location...

We even shared some laughs...well how can't you with this guys fantastic sense of humor, I need to take him with me on all of my photo-shoots! He was on fire with the jokes! (follow red arrows!!)

Then I pulled a classic 'dana move' and had the driver of their big mobile squeal to a stop to get a few shots with this honey honey set of wheels!

Braedon and Turner

Man alive, what could be worse than a scratched cornea?...gaining 5lbs from over-dosing on halloween mini chocolate bars...nope...lack of sleep due to teething...nope...what about the dreadful H1N1 flu virus circulating in every open air space?  Yup that would be the one, both Hunter and I are slowly recovering from this nasty bug and are locked behind closed doors until our fevers break...booo...oh well i suppose it gives me a chance to get all caught up on my posts!! So enough whining from me meet these cutie pie brothers:

Turner is Hunter buddy from baby yoga and Braedon is Turner's big bro.  I was so excited when Jenny asked me to photograph her family. Her one request was "lets involve some food!" no problemo i have been dying to do some shots with great big pin-wheel loli-pops! Here is your sneak peek enjoy!

ps I love St. Marys there are soo many quaint little spots for photo ops!

I just love Autumn colors, and the fact that vibrant toques can be worn without bulky jackets! Here is Braedon's award winning smile!!
