Happy First Birthday Hunter!
Yesterday our baby had his first encounter with sugar...he was so cautious. First he curled up his nose, then he was like, 'are you serious.. you actually want me eat this..no way..instead i will just poke my finger in it...'
this is unusual considering his mama is a sugar addict!
Thanks to all of our friends and family for joining us, we had a blast!
As promised here is the rest of Drew and Lea's sneak peek. Lea is one of my good friends from junior high who now lives in Calgary with her husband...wow the funny thing is that even though that is like Eons ago, my memories are still crystal clear. How we have grown up Lea...we somehow endured the Hyper-color and Varnet France T-shirts, the "poof" hairstyle and the good old YMCA dances...look at us now...married with children! Okay reminiscing aside, back to the star of the day, Drew. He is quite the mover, investigating and exploring everything! What a fantastic personality he has; he is both inquisitive and adventurous...a potentially dangerous combo!!(in a good way!) Check out this out:
I have been awaiting the perfect opportunity to use this location in a photo-shoot, it is an old run-down ice-cream shop here in Stratford, it is super vibrant but a little challenging with the bright magnetta (purple) door and its affects on skin tone...However, Drew didn't seem to mind he was on the move hooray!
Talk about sky-blue eyes...totally resembling his Daddy's!
I brought along some bubbles to entertain this curious 18 month old, and lets just say we had mama Lea (3.5 months pregnant) running about bubble making for at least 20 minutes...great job Lea...here we see Drew awaiting the next bubble bout through the center of the last one...
and "POP" he we see Drew's perfect timing on popping the bubble...you can see the soapy splatter between his hands!
what dreamy eyes you have Lea..."maybe its Maybelline"!! little inside joke for Lea's entertainment!
with all this running around Drew needed a snack...

Amy and Dave are parents now!! Isn't it incredible to feel such crazy love for these little beings?!!
Dave called me in May to get a gift certificate for a mother's day surprise...side note- what a sweet-heart and wonderful dad!!...so it was not until recently we were able to meet and do this photo-shoot. It is no surprise to me that little Charlotte is so beautiful and giggly she certainly takes after her fabulous parents. Enjoy your sneak peek...ps i am soo pumped about the first two photos:

Ok all you little wee baby girls out there. Look out...Beckett is sure to be a heart breaker one day! What a sweet, handsome and totally COOL trend setter we have here! As soon as I started clicking the shutter, he turned on the CHARM! With parents that rock as much as Rachel and Brandon, it is no surprise that he is so adorable and full of personality! We met in the quaint city of Ancaster for this photo-shoot and found some pretty superb locations, met some interesting by-standers and magically beat the nasty weather.
