This is Donny and Andrea, you may recognize them from a previous family shoot! They are just too cute, i can't wait to shoot their upcoming wedding this October, they are soo much fun to photograph because they are up for anything (even entering into construction 'danger zones' after hours!) in order for me to capture the perfect shot i have conjured up in my imagination! In this case, it was in the back alleys of Stratford.
Did i fail to mention that "up for anything" included an innocent little ice-cream cone food fight!!
check out the progression of events!
"oh honey this is so romantic..sharing moose-tracks with you.."
"good times..." look at the little on-looking girl above..she seems to know something Andrea doesn't!
yup, only to be expected...the counterattack!

There is an old Arabian proverb that says that "The wind of heaven is that which blows between a horse's ears" I remember that feeling of excitement and blast of adrenaline I would get when racing through the open fields on my horses when i was young and let me tell you that feeling of freedom and horse crazy love returned when i was asked to do this photo-shoot! I was unsure of how to categorize this shoot, yes this is a family, but also a baby shoot! Meet Legacy who is 4 weeks old, as curious as my baby boy (although much steadier on her feet...hooves..), into everything and nursing non-stop!! Meet Legacy's proud parents J.S. Cassiopeia a stunning 24 year old registered Arabian mare and "Cassie's" much younger mate King's Peppy Sanman "Odin" a strikingly handsome 3 year old registered Quarter Horse!
And Proud Daddy Watches...from afar of course!!..What a poser!!
"A stubborn horse walks behind you, an impatient horse walks in front of you, but a noble companion walks beside you" Cassie and Pamela have been best-buds for over 22 years...

Congrats Denae and Dave, what a gorgeous day! I met up with Denae and her best ladies at her place to begin the days photo-shoot only to find this spectacular church literally 5 steps from her home! I had a great time capturing Denae and Dave's wedding held at Golf's Steak House in Lancaster, what a fun bunch!...and that little Jayce, what cutie pie, he had all the moves for the camera! Well I hope you guys have a fantastic time on your honeymoon basking in the sun and relaxing! Here is a sneak peak of the day..
